Family Get Together

Dave's brother Sheldon and his family came down from Washington this last week to stay so that their two girls Natalie and Annalise could attend EFY. Then we all got together on Friday and went to a water park in provo and then it was off to Bear Lake on Saturday. Both fun filled days with some much needed time with the family. However we did get a flat tire on the way to Bear lake and had to drive home on our donut. We couldn't go over 55 miles an hour and we had two very cranky children in the backseat. It made for a very very long ride back home. Yes we all got sunburned and yes we all put on sunscreen but oh well that's what happens when you spend half a day in a Lake.

Anniversary 2013

Dave and I didn't get to celebrate our anniversary till may this year. I know it's a few months late but sometimes that happens. Our kids got sick on the actual day and then with Dave's schedule we just didn't have anytime until May. But Dave surprised me by taking me for an overnight stay in park city. This was our 5 year anniversary so we wanted to do something special. Dave was amazing. We had a really nice hotel room with a private hot tub on the balcony. And went down old main street for some shopping and dinner. It was really nice to get away. Even if it was for one night only.

Planting garden and watching cedar hills fireworks

My mom and dad came over on Saturday and helped us get our little garden in the front yard planted. Being first time planters we didn't really know what we were doing. But Reagan sure did love it. She loves to help with anything we do. So when we gave her a little shovel she was more than excited to help us dig holes to put the flowers in. Then later that night we went for some dinner and stayed up to watch the Cedar Hills firework show. Matthew was only a few months old when he first saw fireworks last year. So when he saw them this year I know he liked them because he just stared with wide eyes.

Aquarium

This was Dave's and Matthew's first time at the aquarium. Reagan and I had been before but it was a lot more fun with everyone. Reagan loves the otters the best. Matthew had a lot of fun as well. We went on a rainy and pretty chilly day. So it was nice that we could still pack everyone up and head over to the aquarium.
