Weekend Getaway

We took a much needed getaway for 4 days down south. We don't get a lot of opportunities to get away as a family and enjoy ourselves. We first headed down south to Vegas and stayed at circus circus. Then the next day we went to a park and had some fun. it was a really cute park that I didn't now was there before with a maze for the kids and a little town made into a playground. it also included a little splash pad. Then we headed to the strip to go to m&m world and chocolate world. After that we checked into the Excalibur and the kids were so excited to stay in a castle. Then we went to dinner and got to see some nights fight while we ate. The kids loved it till Reagan thought that the nights were actually dying and that the evil nights were going to come into the audience and kill us all. We quickly explained to her how it was just a show and she saw all the so called "dead Knights" after the show. The next day we headed to St. George and hiked around there and visited the temple. Then the next day we went to Zion and got a hike in before it started to rain. It was a short little getaway but much needed. We hopefully plan to do more of them in the near future.
