I'm Jen Nichols...I love hearing that name. Dave and I now live in West Jordan. Dave currently works at Pioneer Valley Hospital and Jordan Valley Medical Center. He is a Therapist for Pioneer Valley Hospital and does crisis work for them as well. Reagan is 3 yrs old and she is only getting cuter. Matthew just joined our little family on March 22, 2012. He is a sweet little guy. We are just enjoying the ride.
This Christmas was special cuz it was our first one together as a married couple! YEA! We had a pretty sweet fake tree and some killer presents. We spoiled ourselves with a Nintendo Wii with Mario Kart and Guitar Hero! We have already mastered the game on "EASY." Our next quest is to try rockin out on "MEDIUM!" Jen is truly the guitar hero, and I'm the drum master! Our first Christmas together was awesome. We spent Christmas Eve together at our place but had dinner with Jen's family since her brother just returned home from his mission in Mongolia. I love eating Jen's mother's food! She has been filling-in since my mom isn't around to cook =) We almost got snowed in at her parents house but luckily made it home alright. I was pretty excited to sleep-in on my only day off from work but not to my surprise, Jen was up bright and early like a little school girl waiting to open presents! Jen started the magical holiday by giving me my stocking full of gifts and goodies...but then I realized I totally dropped the ball...and forgot to fill her stocking with anything! I officially failed the good husband test! I somehow got "wrapped up" (No pun intended) buying her gifts and forgot to buy stocking stuffers. Oh well, there's always next year. Well, Jen forgave me and we went over to her family's house again to open presents her family had bought for us and we spent the day there playing games and eating junkfood. It was an awesome holiday and a wonderful break from school. I had a whole month off! We couldn't have asked for a better Christmas together. We both decided that we probably will never be able to spoil ourselves again like we did this year. Afterall, we may possibly have a family of our own by next Christmas!
