I'm Jen Nichols...I love hearing that name. Dave and I now live in West Jordan. Dave currently works at Pioneer Valley Hospital and Jordan Valley Medical Center. He is a Therapist for Pioneer Valley Hospital and does crisis work for them as well. Reagan is 3 yrs old and she is only getting cuter. Matthew just joined our little family on March 22, 2012. He is a sweet little guy. We are just enjoying the ride.
Dave always wants to go camping with the kids and I always tell him it's just to hard right now. So we decided to do a practice run in our backyard. The kids were totally hyper and running everywhere and touching everything. especially the dutch oven and the hot stuff on top. they enjoyed watching the fire in the fire pit but again wanted to touch it or be really close to it. We had hot dogs and bbq chicken with watermelon and chips for dinner then we had peach cobbler in the dutch oven and smores over the fire. it was a good night. I was however looking forward to bed time because I was exhausted by the time we got into the tent. Matthew surprisingly went right to sleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. So I don't know if we would be able to do anything long like a few days but maybe a night or two. But like I said it was just practice and it will do for now.
Reagan had her very fist school program today. Her teacher Mrs. Jean asked all the parents to come today so we could see what the children have been working on every day. They even put together some songs to sing for the parents. it was so adorable. At first I didn't think I was going to be able to go. Matthew woke up and was quite constipated this morning and was crying all the way to Reagan's school. I wanted to take pictures of her special day today but It didn't look like I was going to be able to. But as soon as we got to school and I got Matthew out of the car he was fine. He enjoyed it a lot. He even joined in on the fun. I'm so proud of my little girl and love my little guy so much. I am one proud parent today.
Dave got the day off so we headed out early to Ogden to the tree house museum. The kids loved that. There was tons for them to do there. We were there for a couple of hours before we headed out and headed to Utah County. We took the kids to bridal veil falls. I use to got there a lot when I was single and I loved it. The kids thought it was cool. Matthew kept saying that it was amazing. But there were so many people there because of the holiday. Then to avoid the traffic going out of the canyon we took the alpine loop out of the canyon and went to grandma and grandpa's for a little bit of steak and potatoes for dinner. Yum
