My Sick Little Boy

Matty has not been feeling good most of this week. I feel so bad when my kids are sick. they are so sad. I feel totally helpless when this happens so young because all you can do is try to figure out what they need and give them lots of love. I got him up this morning to feed him but he wasn't hungry. He ate a tiny bit of his bottle but that was it.

When I put Matthew down in the living room to go help Reagan get dressed and fix her some breakfast, I came back around the corner and he was asleep.

Girl's Night

Reagan was invited to a girl's night next door at Jason and Tanya's house. They had their neices over for the night and they invited Reagan over to join in the fun. They had pizza, cookies,tang,painted their nails, and then watched a movie. She sat in Jason's lap the whole time and fell asleep in his arms. It was so cute. She had so much fun and can't waite to do another one.

Can't get enough

It's plain to see that I love to take pictures of my kids. But now that I have my new camera I love taking pictures even more. I edited these before I put them on here but for some reason they didn't show up that way. so I have to figure that out. But they are still cute pictures. I love taking pictures of Dave and Matthew together. Just something about seeing a father with his son that is so adorable.

Reagan and Matthew both love playing with my phone. Matthew loves to just suck on the cover because it's rubber and Reagan loves to play games and color on it. She will sit and do it for a long time it's great.

Matthew just keeps getting cuter and cuter. I love his little face. I love taking pictures of him. Yes I am bias but I think my kids are pretty darn cute. I just love seeing the differences and similarities in them every day.

Reagan loves to play with her brother. And he gets the biggest grin on his face when she comes in the room. It is evident that he loves his big sister too.

Visiting with good friends

Our friends the Brittons came to see us when they were visiting frome california. They come back every christmas to visit family and we felt really lucky that they wanted to come and see us as well. Our kids are really close in age so that makes it more fun. Reagan and Devin are only a couple months apart and landon and Matthew were born on the same day. We love it when they come because we miss them so much. hopefully one day they will move back to Utah so we can see them more often.

Christmas 2012

This holiday season has been a good one. We went to a couple of family parties then spent some quality family time together. It has been a hard year but we have also had many blessings this year too. One of them being the addition of little Matthew. We love him so much and couldn't imagine our family without him. This was his first christmas and he loved every minute of it...well he loved the boxes and paper just as much as his sister did at that age. Reagan was a lot more fun this year. I love that the older she gets she appreciates things more. She had the best time at christmas just because she understood everything so much better. I think my favorite thing was being at the grocery store with her shopping for things to make cookies for santa. She said oh mom you can't forget the carrots for the reindeer. There is a picture of her holding the half eaten carrot that the reindeer ate. She was so excited about that. When asked what she would tell santa she wanted this year she said a blue airplane. She said that everytime someone asked her. And that is what she got. She opened it up and said Oh! it's just what I wanted! it was so cute...you had to be there I guess. We spend christmas eve at my parents house. it was nice to spend that time together. My dad played the accordion. I haven't herd him play that in such a long time, it brought back so many memories. I love it when my dad plays the accordion. I'm excited to see what the new year will bring. I hope you all had a happy holiday.
