Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was great this year. We usually do two thanksgivings. One at my parents house and then the next day we do ours so we can have leftovers. then we put up the Christmas decorations. I love this time of year. There is so much focus on family and being together and being thankful for everything that we have. I do think that we should have these feelings all year long instead of just the holiday season. But anyway I am so thankful for my family and for my husband who does anything and everything for me. and my two wonderful children who keep me on my toes every single day. But I love them all so much. We are all happy and healthy and have a roof over our heads. Like I said there is a lot to be thankful for. also at the end of the evening poor little matty got sick. I hate it when my kids are sick but I sure do enjoy the cuddles from them. Happy Thanksgiving!

Halloween!

We are big Halloween lovers at this house. we try to go all out. And I have definitely passed that love on to my children. This year we were the avengers. And my neighbor and friend had the same costume as me. My costume was pretty popular this year a lot of people had it. The kids always have fun and are sad when it is over. I've been trying to use Matthew's candy as an incentive for him to go to the bathroom. But as usual he doesn't seem to care. Oh well on to thanksgiving!

Reagan Turns 6!

Reagan wanted a superhero party for her birthday this year. She also got a brand new haircut and she looked so adorable in her captain America costume. All her friends had so much fun at her party and Dave even face painted for the kids along with his brother Aaron.They both did a great job. Reagan didn't want her party to end but I will admit I was pretty exhausted after that whole thing. Her aunt Melissa got her a cake made. The cake was adorable it had her captain America mask on top of the cake and the shield on the side. She loved it. I can't believe that my cute little daughter is 6 years old already. The time sure does fly by. We love her so much. She is becoming such a sweet,caring individual. She is kind to everyone even her brother...most of the time. and she loves loves loves animals. She is our sweet little angel. So glad she is in our family. Happy birthday Reagan. We love you so much!

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa Nichols continued

The second day Dave's parents were here we went to jungle jims and gardener village. Gardener village already had their witches out. I love that! Everyone had fun and enjoyed jungle jims and I think Dave's mom was particularly pleased with the shopping at Gardener Village. I love being able to spend a lot of time with the family also because it wears my kids out so they go to bed quickly at night:-)His parents left early this morning, the kids were sad to see them go as were Dave and I. Hope that it won't be such a long time before we see them again.
