The Farm at Thanksgiving Point

Today was such a fun day. Reagan and I went to the thanksgiving point farm with some friends. Dave was home today so he took Matthew while Reagan and I had some much needed girl time with our friends. Our new friends from the our ward in west jordan. The newbolds. Beth and her two adorable daughters anna and layla. They all get a long to well together so it made for a really fun experience for everyone. Not to mention the absolutely gorgeous day we had. In these first two pictures Reagan was feeding the chickens and she loved it at first but one pecked her a little to hard. That is why she has the sad face. other than that we had lots of fun Reagan got to play in some little play houses that was a dance hall and a jail. Now for some reason when I play with Reagan at home she is always the damsel in destress that needs to be saved. needles to say she loved being able to be behind those bars. She also got to ride a poney for the first time. She loved it. All in all it was a great day and hopefully Matthew and Dave will be able to join us sometime soon to go there again. I know Reagan wouldn't mind :-)

Conference Weekend

I love Conference weekend. Being able to be with my family and listen to inspired speakers for two days is awesome. I also love being able to watch it from the comfort of my home. Sure it gets hard to listen to all of it when you have small children at home but I love that it is playing while we listen and try to control the chaos that is going on. Melissa spent the night on Saturday. She came over and we had a girls night plus matthew while Dave was at the priesthood session. Then the next morning we made a huge breakfast of delecious crepes before listening to the first session of conference. In between sessions Reagan brought everyone together to tell some stories. She loves to do this. I just love her imagination. And the faces of dave and matthew are priceless when Reagan gets to the scary part of her story. I just love my little family so much and I am so blessed to have an amazing husband that supports and loves us. I'm greatful for our living prophet and for a Heavenly Father that listens to our prayers and for Christ, who is the light in our lives when things are sometimes dark. Easter 2013

We had a great Easter this year especially since the weather was so great. The holidays just get better and better the older your children get. I just love how Reagan understands more and more with each year. and soon Matthew will be the same way. But Matthew did join in on all the fun. We decorated Eggs the night before and they turned out pretty. Reagan pretty much colored all of them herself. Reagan got a nice basket this year and quickly started finding the eggs around the house as soon as she opened her bedroom door. Then we went outside to see what the easter bunny left out there for her. He left her a lot of eggs and a huge nest of eggs for her to find. Matthew just walked around and played and mostly tried to eat everything he saw including the eggs. We try to explain the focus of easter to Reagan a little bit each year. I think that she is slowly starting to understand. Since Reagan joined the primary in January she got up for the first time in sacrament to sing with the rest of the kids. Dave and I were so proud of her. She did a really good job just standing there looking at everyone. We thought she was going to put up a fuss about going up on the stand but she went right up all by herself.After church we had dinner at the grandparents house. I forgot to take pictures there that's how awesome I am. oh well maybe they took some cute pictures they can send me.
