Christmas Day

Well we didn't get snow pretty much all of December until Christmas day. Talk about having your white Christmas. I loved waking up to snow on Christmas day and so did the kids. It was a great day,even though dave had to work but at least he was home in the morning and he didn't have to work for to long so we could enjoy the rest of the day with him. We tried something new this year. we don't usually have turkey for Christmas dinner but we did this year. and I have to say that it was delicious! it was wrapped in bacon and it was so moist and so good. We just might make that a Christmas tradition :-). The day was filled with family, fun and playing in the snow. I don't have a picture of it but Reagan and matthew both got beds this year. Regan got a big girl bed, finally in a twin size and not the toddler anymore. Matthew got the toddler bed. Reagan loves her big girl bed. but it might prove a little difficult to make in the morning but oh well.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas eve at my parents house. This has become our tradition and the kids love it. We had an amazing dinner and then we open the Christmas eve box and watch the movie inside and put on our Christmas pajamas. Then go home and get ready for the next morning. My sister gave Matthew a dragon that walks around and makes noise. Matthew was a little scared of it at first but now he plays with it every day! Reagan got more my little pony things from her aunts and she loves it to death. The kids have so much fun at their grandparents house. Glad that we have this tradition with them.

I took some pictures of families on Saturday and I usually rent a specific lense to do that. I rent the lense because I can't yet afford the lense I want. Anyway in between shoots I got some cute photos of Reagan and Dave.

Zoo Lights

We went to zoo lights on Saturday right after Dave got off of work. It wasn't to cold then either so it turned out to be a good evening. The kids enjoyed the lights and even though you couldn't see all the animals there was still a little section where there were some animals for them to look at. I love The Christmas season and all it brings. especially a feeling of being with family and the ones you love. And it also makes me think of the Savior and his birth. What a wonderful time of year.
