Easter

March was a busy month this year. We just stayed home this year for Easter because grandpa Nielsen had eye surgery and needed to relax. So we had our own dinner at home and invited aunt Melissa to come over. We had so much fun and Church was very uplifting. The kids love the Easter Bunny and love everything he brought them. Reagan got a hula hoop and Matthew got some little Frisbees. I am so grateful that Dave and I can teach our children about the savior and what he has done for us. How he was resurrected and that is why we celebrate Easter because he lived and died for us and lives again! I love this holiday so much and I'm very grateful for my little family.

Matthew turns 4!

I can't believe that my little boy is 4 already. I'm pretty happy about it though. The only glitch right now is that he is not potty trained. Hopefully he will get the desire to do that soon. Matthew has been getting better and better as time goes on. I had a pretty hard time with him from 18 months up till about 3. He has been a pretty hard kid. But we are both learning to do things together and compromise and pick our battles. But he is the sweetest boy I could have asked for. He loves to cuddle and be with mommy and daddy. He had a Hulk smash party with all of his friends that turned out better than we had planned. We had a lot of stuff for him to smash and the boys loved it. Because all they had to do was destroy things. They were all in heaven. And I made him a hulk cake that he loved. He had so much fun at his very first birthday party. Happy birthday my little man. So proud to be his mom. Love you Matthew!

Christmas 2015

Ok I am really late putting these Christmas photos up. To say I have been busy is a total understatement. We went to Washington this year for Christmas to be with Dave's family. The drive was not great it took us two days to get there and two days to get home because of the weather. and at one point the passes were all closed and we ended up sitting in a line to go through the pass for two hours. we started to open up a couple gifts while we waited in that line. But all in all it was a good visit for all of us. The kids got to meet their great Grandmother and they loved her. We don't get to see grandma and grandpa Nichols very often let a lone for the holidays so we are really glad that we got to make this trip this year. I'm glad that we all made it there safely and made it safely home. Merry Christmas!
