Big boy Little girl

Matthew recently had his 18 month appointment and he was 25 pounds and in the 70 percentile. so we celebrated by getting him his very own big boy car seat. As you can see he is pretty big in it. I also put the picture of Reagan when she was first put in her very own big girl car seat. As you can see she was a lot smaller. Though I will say after going to his appointment and discovering that they now weigh the same... yes that's right my 18 month old child is the same weight as my almost 4 year old girl. I have come to realize that boys are way way bigger than girls...or that my little girl is just really little.

Sunday Evening

Well we went up little cottonwood canyon after dinner on sunday to see if we could see if the leaves were starting to change color. They weren't a whole lot but we had a nice little drive and we got out for a little bit to stretch our legs and to take some cute pictures of course. Hopefully in a week or two I will put some nice pictures of the leaves changing color.

Labor Day 2013

Dave had the day off today...which hardly ever happens so we went for a quick little hike. Dave went with the scouts recently to this location and he assured us that the waterfall was something to see. But when we got there it was barely a trickle. But it was still lots of fun. Dave ended up carrying Matthew the whole time and he hung onto his daddy for dear life. We put him down to walk for a little bit but he was having none of that. It was in a pretty location and it was nice and shaded the whole time. I wish we could have more of these moments when we can all spend some quality time together as a family. But I will take what I can get right now. I love spending every minute with my family.
