Sledding

Reagan also got a sled for Christmas so we went sledding for the first time with her and Matthew on Saturday. it was a nice day not to cold but defiantly icy. Reagan loved it so much she keeps asking me to go sledding with her every day since then. I'm glad she loves it. Matthew enjoyed it for a while but got tired long before Reagan did. I remember sledding as a child and have very fond memories of it. I hope we can create some memories like that for Reagan and Matthew both.

Dinner with Family and more lights at temple square

Dave's Aunt and Uncle came from California with cousin Jared for Christmas. They stayed at Jenny and Chris's house through the Holiday. We went over on Christmas day for dinner and hanging out. We love it when Andrea and Russ come to town. They are so much fun to be with. The next day we went to dinner at Tucanos and then went to temple square to look at the lights. Russ had never been but man was it cold! It is always good times when they come to town. We miss you already Russ and Andrea and of course Jared :-)

Christmas 2013

Christmas was so nice this year.Dave got a good amount of time off and we really enjoyed him being home for a few days to celebrate the holiday with me and the kids. I am glad that Christmas is over because it was just so busy and a little bit stressful. But it was fun for the kids with the elf on the shelf(pictures of that later to come). Dave surprised me with lightroom. I love it so much and used it to edit these pictures. it is the coolest program ever. Reagan and Matthew both got lots of cool new toys to play with. That should keep them busy for a while...well for a few days at least.

Christmas Eve at the Grandparents House

Every year we go to my parents house for Christmas eve. We love this tradition and Reagan has grown to look forward to it every year. I also started a little tradition this year where the one thing we open on Christmas eve is our Christmas eve boxes. Where the kids and Dave get new pajamas to wear that night, hot chocolate, popcorn, and a movie for all of us to watch that night. it was a big hit. Reagan, Matthew, and Dave all look great in there new pajamas. The food was so delicious and the company was even better. Sharing our new tradition with everyone was wonderful. I think aunt Melissa was more excited about the movie than the kids were. That's ok it's still nice to see how excited even adults get this time of year. My mom always decorates such an adorable tree. I hope that one day I will be able to have cute things to decorate my tree with and be just as creative as her.
